Los Angeles Printmaking Society Board and Foundation members gathered at The Center for the Arts in Eagle Rock (CFAER) on Saturday, May 21, 2022 to present monetary awards to outstanding matriculated printmaking students. Six students were chosen from ten applicants who applied for the yearly grants provided by the LAPS Foundation whose purpose is to accept donations and raise monies for the express purpose of providing scholarships and awards for aspiring printmaking students enrolled in a program of printmaking study at a college or university.
This year, awards in the amount of $4,000 were given out. The ceremony took place in the CFAER outdoor garden, where Awardees were presented to the Board, made brief comments about their artwork and techniques, gave a print as a donation to the Foundation and received their grant money.
